Leave Luxor early in the morning and drive north to the Temple of Hathor at Dendera, known for its astronomical ceiling. Continue to Abydos to explore the Temple of Seti I and its stunning reliefs. Return to Luxor in the late afternoon.
Dendera is about one hour from Luxor and Abydos about two hours north. The full day trip takes approximately 10 hours including driving.
