Experience the open-air museum that is Luxor in a single unforgettable day. Cross the Nile to the West Bank and explore the Valley of the Kings, the Colossi of Memnon and the stunning Temple of Hatshepsut. After a lunch break, return to the East Bank to wander the colossal columns of Karnak Temple and the Avenue of Sphinxes. Round-trip transfers and a private Egyptologist guide are included.
In the morning, your guide picks you up from your Luxor hotel and takes you to the West Bank: the Valley of the Kings, the Colossi of Memnon and the Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari. After a local lunch, you cross back to the East Bank to visit the mighty Karnak Temple complex and the Avenue of Sphinxes before being returned to your hotel.
Entrance fees for the main sites are included. A separate, optional ticket is available for the tomb of Tutankhamun, which you can purchase locally.
The full-day tour usually lasts around 8 to 10 hours including transfers and a lunch break.
Lunch is not included, but we will stop at a recommended restaurant and your guide can help you choose.
