Set sail on the most beautiful stretch of the Nile aboard a traditional dahabiya. This 4-day voyage from Aswan to Luxor carries a small group in complete comfort, stopping at Kom Ombo, Edfu and the quiet riverbank villages that big ships cannot reach. Wake to birdsong, sail by wind and current, and let your private Egyptologist bring every temple to life.
Board your dahabiya in Aswan and enjoy lunch on deck. In the afternoon, take a motorboat to the Temple of Philae on Agilkia Island. Dinner and overnight on board.
Sail north with the breeze, stopping for a riverside walk. Visit the double temple of Kom Ombo in the late afternoon light. Overnight on board.
Visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu in the early morning. In the afternoon, explore a riverside village on foot or by bicycle. Overnight on board.
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast as the dahabiya approaches Luxor. Disembark and transfer to your hotel, the airport or the train station.
The cruise starts in Aswan and sails north to Luxor. The opposite direction is available as a 5-day itinerary.
Abu Simbel is not included, but it can be added as an optional day trip from Aswan before boarding.
Most of our dahabiyas carry between 8 and 16 guests, ensuring a quiet and personal experience.
